Количественные или качественные критерии, определенные регулирующим органом или определенные оператором и одобренные регулирующим органом для применения к радиоактивным отходам, принимаемым оператором пункта захоронения (хранилища) для их захоронения или оператором хранилища для их хранения. Требования приемлемости отходов могут включать, например, ограничения в отношении концентрации активности или суммарной активности конкретных радионуклидов (или типов радионуклидов) в отходах или требования, касающиеся формы отходов или упаковочного комплекта отходов.
